   Backbase Hires Interactive Media Veteran Bart Termorshuizen

   Backbase, the leader in Bank 2.0 portal solutions, has hired Bart Termorshuizen to head its Client Services team. Termorshuizen joins Backbase from QNH Interactive where he was founder and managing director. Prior to that he served as managing director at the global marketing and communications firm PPGH/JWT Engage and in a similar role at Dutch firm Clockwork.

   Dutch insurance broker Van Lanschot Chabot chose Backbase’s technology to help it update its Internet portal. The result, which recently went live, is called ‘MijnChabot’, an innovative online platform where customers can manage their accounts.

   Backbase Inc., a leader in next-generation portal software, today announced that it is expanding its North American operations with a new office in New York, NY. This is the second US office for the Netherlands-based company, who also has an office in San Francisco’s Financial District.
